Weegee, more formally known as Usher Fellig is one of my favorite photographers in history! He got his name because he was known to arrive only minuets after rescue to the scene of an incident with his camera. He is best know for his stark black and white street photography.
I was so excited when executive portrait day came around because I got to shoot Tom. I just love his look. He was so much fun to shoot! I hope to be able to shoot more of photographs like these, showing people in their environment.
Today Ms. Ally Pinderand I went out to shoot my Fantasy assignment. We dressed her up in am old prom dress that we dyed blue and she painted her face. Whala! Instant Fairy!
I had the honor of shooting Ms. Marti at one of her most vulnerable times.
Just hours after yet another round of chemo she remarked, "It is amazing how no matter how many time I have to do this (the chemo), the pain still surprises me."
Hi all! This is a blog based on my experiences with photography. I have been into photography for as long as I can remember. I have always loved Steve McCurry’s journalistic portraiture and have been recently experimenting with that type of photography. I am currently in school to complete my degree in Commercial Photography from Gwinnett Technical College, in Atlanta, GA. I will be graduating September 2009 and starting a new career in photography.
